Everyone has insecurities even if they don’t want to admit them. While there is no easy way to get rid of your insecurities, here are some tips to get you started:
- Every time you think of something that you don’t like about yourself, think of at least one thing that you do like about yourself and focus on that. You may not realize that others could be envious of qualities that you don’t like about yourself.
- People tend to be much more critical of themselves than others are of them. You may feel that something you are insecure about it totally obvious, but others may not even notice it.
- Just because you feel some way about yourself doesn’t make it true. For example, just because you may feel ugly doesn’t mean that you are. EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL!
- It takes work to feel secure. Confidence and persistence is key.
- Talk to someone you trust about how you feel. They will likely want to do anything to help you be successful and will remind you of all of your positive qualities.
